As an extension of the centenary efforts, on 10th August 2002 the school inaugurated NEST – a Day Care Centre for Children with Autism, offered as St. Joseph’s Centennial Gift to Society. This initiative reflected the institution’s enduring commitment to compassion, inclusion, and social responsibility

Guided by Sr. Nancy, the Sister-in-charge of NEST, the centre provides students with a peaceful, supportive setting where they can learn at a comfortable pace. The NEST Programme helps students develop confidence, recognize their capabilities, and progress steadily through well-designed learning modules, skill-based tasks, therapeutic exercises, and continuous encouragement.

Realized as a dream of the congregation of the Sisters of the Cross of Chavanod, Trichy Province, NEST stands as a testament to their dedication to promoting the growth of every child. The centre was blessed and inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Devaraj V.C. of Trichy Diocese, marking a significant milestone in the school’s journey of service and care.
